I've just read a very good article on understanding your spouse's emotions.
I realize that most of you who visit here are not married yet, but these are things that you can apply to all of your relationships in general, I think. It would never hurt to begin looking for or applying these things in your courtship journey.
Here is the link to the article at Focus on the Family's website: http://www.focusonthefamily.com/marriage/communication-and-conflict/understanding-your-feelings-to-stay-connected-in-your-marriage?utm_campaign=A+Conversation+With+Sadie+Robertson+%2B+Understand+Your+Spouse%E2%80%99s+Feelings&utm_medium=email&utm_source=nl_focusenews
It was written by Drs. David and Jan Stoop, who have been married for over 60 years!
They talk about emotional intelligence, understanding our own emotions and being able to empathize with others.
You'll probably find several nuggets of information in there.
Have a good week, and stay warm!
